Sometimes I despair of the human race.

I know sometimes just when you think you've seen it all something like this comes along.

I hope someone has a really big heart and makes sure the rest of his life is fabulous.

It just really gets me because I fought tooth and nail to stop my dog's skin condition getting worse and will probably have to do so for the rest of his life. Whereas I could have just ignored it and dumped him and let him suffer like these knobbers. I can't imagine what discomfort this dog must be in :(

And the old owner was prosecuted:

Although only banned for a year! Of course this was before the new Act, you'd like to think she'd have got a harsher sentence now:mad:

ETA again - from that last article:

He has now been found a new home with Dafydd and Gaynor Williams, from Rhuddlan.

They were chosen from dozens of people who asked to adopt the dog.

They have previously said Charlie was now a "different" animal and he has made a full recovery.
