Going to rant, just really dont like people at this moment
I rent land, and with permission of my landlady I am allowed one or two other people to share it.
I dont often as admittedly I am not great to share with, as I like my solitude.
Anyway someone I thought was a friend was getting made very uncomfortable where they were. I knew both the yard and her, and I had always thought that she helped them, and I knew that they could be a bit funny at times (tell me one horse person who isnt about something?!!!)
So I opened land up for her and her two, but along came her friend with two, and her partner/ex with one old pony
I looked and went oh c@@@@ too many, promptly tried to get hold of the land next door to help, but it was on at least a month hold before they would make a decision. I made it clear to my "friend" that there were too many horses and something would have to go if I didnt have it, as I was not willing to have no grass.
I point out here, that I do not need to share, I am not a buisness, and that while the moeny would be useful, it would also be put back into improving the place.
In this time they made me (and the other friend I share with) uncomfortable being there. and then kept finding reasons to not pay the next months rent (paid first) so I gave them notice to leave, final straw was when at a public event they were overheard slandering me by independent people.
In this time, what a surprise a few of my bits vanished.....
So they leave, taking about 6 hours to move 4 equines......and then refuse to take the last one..... the partner/ex's
Its still there, condition score 1 aprox,(I know they had major weight problems with her for years) and my suspision is that it has been left for me to put down at my expense, which I cant as I am not its owner. So more stress, them slating me that I was playing them (I should have thrown them out there and then but was trying to be honorable)
I now wonder come winter about rugging mine.....will rugs etc vanish? leaving them naked and shivering (they had several rugs with different postcodes I have since been told by their last yard)
So rant nearly over. Why the hell did I try to help these people? Was I stupid or what? Nothing but stress and stupidity on my part AGAIN
and this poor pony. Again has that been left behind to "spy" on me? to stitch me up with the condition it is in. So how would you best deal with that
And yeah forget about the rent that between them they owe me, its under £200, and they playing the horses belong to one person then the other.
Just feeling stupid, and wondering when I will ever learn
