Hi everyone ! I haven't been on much lately due to RL circumstances...:( but for those who remember, and now that I have something exciting to report, here is the latest about son re his being selected (with the Beastie Mare) by US Eventing Team Coach Mark Phillips for the US Developing Rider Program.

First training session was held last weekend in LA: Son said that MP was blown away by the Beastie Mare's jump and potential and said that with work on her dressage, they ought to be a winning combination !
He asked son to join him again with the beast for a second training session (closer to home for them

) taking place next weekend.
Not sure the beast is enjoying the extra FLAT work though....

So happy for him

Son says the guy is amazing and the whole session (especially the flat work) was most educational and inspiring.

Son's GF (who's a darling on a mission for my benefit !) took photos and vids. Waiting for them and will share with you in CR as soon as I get them !

Thanks Lou !

Barely surviving with a mad life schedule: mum still in rehab and making progress with her new bionic hip, weather the pits, work over my head, my boy feeling a bit left out atm poor guy...

and last weekend in my bed with the flu and a 40 temperature

and still shaky and weak from it

But hey ! Not complaining just racing against the clock

...Exhausting ! But Alexis' good news and achievements are always worth so much to me !

Hope you, family, Boo and Poppy are ok

Looking forward to pics/vid. What an achievement for your son.

Any pics of Rio you'll put on the dog forum won't you?

great to hear others rave about Mark Phillips.....I have been lucky enough to train with him about 5 times a few years ago...he makes the impossible seem v simple, and do-able, and is very encouraging.

good luck to your son!

Thanks Fiona !
