Soo angry

Ask her if you can pay in instalments? you never know she may agree

[/ QUOTE ]

Its definatly worth asking as its not a finacial sale. My horse was loan/sale and same as you the owner decided to sell rather than loan so I ofered instalments and she accepted, hes all paid for now and 100% mine. Give it a go she can only say no

Apparently she told someone else who went to view him (whos on another message board I'm on) that she needs the money as she wants to buy a house.

I asked her about installments and she said she will ask her mom and get back to me

I would defo steer clear of the installment idea.

Just take it as a learning curve and save up for one and buy it outright.

There are so many things that can go wrong - even if you have a contract in place - no solicitor would think it was a good idea!

jesus wat a messer she sounds, sorry 4 u , u seem nice enough, i think she wanted to sell al along and now your hooked, how much was he ???

I have to admit, when I sold shadow I did put possible loan on the bottom of the ads, I loved him so much I didnt want to never see him again, and people did come who to try him twice who were thinking of loaning, once for a trial in the arena and once for a hack. I have a feeling i was just like the owner of said horse in this situation- not sure what to do for the best, in the end I sold him because I knew that I would 1. become interfering and 2. Would worry about the deteriation of his schooling having tried loaning him previously before
I sold him. Im really really sorry for the poster! I know its horrible becaue I too have fallen for a horse and missed out, I guess what was harsher for you was having to pay for that lesson, which she should have done if that was a condition of loaning
But you can be sure something WILL be there for you!
