sooo annoyed

iv got dressage 2moro which i entered over 3 weeks ago. and he half pulled a shoe off and wasnt due till next thursday, so the farrier came out this morning and did a whole set for me as hes amazing! but he noticed that he had a stone wedged between the shoe and the foot, when he put a shoe on that foot he got very sore, so he took it back off and i think he tried to make a litlle gap over where the stone went to take the pressure off, and he seemed ok, but trotted across the field after and is very lame

gona trot him up when i go down in a bit and call the farrier back out, was really looking forward to stressage 2moz as hes been going amazing.
some extra quick healing vibes would be appreciated

Don't panic!! I would say just bad bruising caused by the stone! see how he is and maybe hot poultice to draw bruise to surface!!

ring the dressage organisers and see if you can save your entry for the next show - that's what I've done in the past when mine came up lame before a comp. They were quite happy to save the entry so I didn't waste any money.

how annoying

where were you stressaging?! is it on a surface, is it poss he might be better on a surface? you could come get Frank he needs a trip out and after the last 3 weeks is used to being ridden by anyone! (though he is a little diff to yours)
