Slightly pointless post I suppose....
But very pleased with my youngster today. She is a 4 yo race bred tb, I bought her off the field unhandled in 2009.
Backed her myself at easter, and have just been slowly but surely ticking along. Havnt hacked much under saddle but have lead out in hand etc.
Well today was 6th hack under saddle and I asked her to lead, and bless her she did so well. If she backed off or looked at anything I just closed my legs around her and on she went!
By the end of the hack she had her ears pricked was striding out in confidence and seemed to really enjoy being in front!
