Posted in NL but I know a lot of you dont venture in there and AAD feels most like 'home' so I will repost in here. :)

I wanted to post and say to you each and every one of you that has offered kind words and support in whatever form over the last few months a huge THANK YOU.
There have been times over the last few years I have seriously wondered why I bother with this forum but behind all the hearty bitching, backstabbing and general nonsense that goes on here is a wonderful community of caring people. I will never again question my membership on this forum, when the chips were really down I was so greatful to be a member of that community I cannot tell you just how greatful. From the first post after my partner left back in June, to the posts the day before and day after my horses were pts you guys have been there. You helped make me feel justified in my decision to pts and your supportive words greatly eased the pain of having to carry that decision through.
So as I (with great trepidation) prepare to start a whole new chapter at the end of the week when me and ALL FOUR of my beloved dogs move to our new cottage (yep I did it, we have a new home all together ) I just wanted to remind you guys what a wonderful place this forum can be.
I will probably be offline for a while during the move I should imagine but I shall be sure to update you all on the new home at the first available opportunity.
The dogs would like to thank you too, for giving their mummy hope and courage and therefore keeping our family together.

As I've said before, I just wish we were closer so I could come and annoy you in person!
Lovely smiley doggies :) you're a brilliant Mummy and you've done them proud when it would have been easier to take other options.

Y'all get back here quick when the dust has settled, ya hear? :)

Big hugs hun - you've done so well, stayed so strong and come so far :) Best of luck with the move, I'm sure you and the gang will manage fabulously :D

I'm very good at packing btw if you need a hand....until I get a *little* bit bored and then it all gets chucked in the same box :o :o

See you on the other side! (Or at least, when you've sorted out internet access) :)

Awwww Vislak - so nice to hear you sounding positive :)

Actually, and although we don't realise it at the time, sometimes these disasters really do have a silver lining and in a little while you may well see your life positively flourishing in a new direction that you never imagined. Good luck hun xx

I promise not to be too long...even if I have to beat a bt/sky engineer or two ;) I'll be about in short spells this week anyway, pick the keys up friday and plan to move gradually over the weekend, I dont have to be out of here until the 14th.
I am positive but also a little sad. I'm proud of myself for getting this far but I'm nervous about the future still. Its also hard leaving a home I love so much.

It's lovely to read that you've found somewhere you can call your own, and as you say, start a new chapter.
I totally agree with Ravenwood.

"It's worth going through a storm if it means you'll end up on the other side happier than before".

All the very best to you xxx

Gah!!!!

thought i had deleted my post then realised you have poste twice and replied on the other one!!:rolleyes::rolleyes:

Anyhoo - its onwards and upwards for you and the hairy gang now:D - you will be back before we know it - and yes we will miss you but only because its quiet.......:p:D:D:D

hugs from me and the boys!!:D:D:D

As sad as leaving this house will be, your new one will be just that - YOURS :) A home for you and the dogs with no stress, just somewhere new to make your own. Good luck x

Wishing you all love and luck with the move. Life throws a whole load of cack around and some people seem to get more than others to deal with.....they are the truly strong ones and you have a wonderful new start to look forward to with the furry family!!

Looking forward to some updates and news from you very soon. xx

Its understandable you will be sad leaving this house, but focus on your future, you are making a new start with your beloved dogs by your side so nothing can stop you. Your next step is to get Flora back in the ring;). Hope the move goes well and get yourself back on here asap.
