Sore feet!

I've been regularly riding for over 6 years. I never in the past had any discomfort when landing after dismounting, but in the last 9/10 months I've been getting agonizing pain in the ball area of the soles of my feet. I'm pretty certain I am landing correctly as I was assessed on this at one point in the last few months. I have a few ideas up my sleeves at minimizing the pain ( Shock absorbing insoles in my boots, sliding down rather than jumping), but the pain is awful! I am currently today unable to walk flat footed after my ride so its lucky I'm not going anywhere!!
Any one else have this issue, know what I'm doing wrong and other suggestions for minimizing the pain?
Thanks! Jess.

Hi, I get this, IMHO it my be you are tense during riding and pushing down into your stirups rather then the weight going into your heel. Just a thought.

Stirrup change isn't the answer as I don't have my own and ride a variety. I know I could buy my own to change but it wouldn't always work. But thanks for the suggestion!
