sore knees

Hi
Can anyone please help me, I have a Irish cobwho has got sore knees at the back, I have tried numerous creams lotions and powders, all to no avail, she is stabled at night on shavings although when on straw had the problem, I am at my wits end what to do, she gets mites in the back legs even though I keep her coat short, she has had 2 courses of detamax injections which do not seem to have wroked, please please can anyone help me?

Barrier Health's - Hoof to Heal works a treat on my mare. Is it like dry/chapped skin???

yes its quite scaly which I can remove with baby oil gel, but I cannot clear it up completely, I used keratex mud fever powder at week end and today it is completely sore looking and scabby

I'm sure you've prob tried it, but worth a suggestion - E45 cream?

thanks for the info on barrier health havnt triedit, will get some tomorrow, looked at the feedback on their web site sounds good, I have tried e45 thanks
