My horse got his headcollar stuck on his stable door and lifted it off the hinges on Friday eve. He wouldn't eat any thing at all on Sat.... After syringing 4 bute down him he finally started to eat (if alittle slow) he's been having bute 2 a day since and has continued to eat. Vet came out Monday to check everything was ok.... She said it was but to contact bute. All along he has been opening his mouth, pulling his lips back at the corners and crossing his jaw... This happens continually even when being lunged ( on a head collar). I just wondered if anyone has any idear what the problem could be?
