Sore/peeling nostril....HELP!

Hi all

Just after some advise.

Last week, my mare came in with a sore/mark on her nose and over the last few days, the pink area inside the nostril has spread from small patches to a whole area....it seems similar to when we peel.

Has anyone experienced this before? If so, what is it and how should I treat it?

My mare started to peel after rubbing too much. I found using sudocrem really helped.
