My 5yr old boxer will occasionally walk with his left front leg held out to one side, really only using one side of his paw as if to shift his weight (usually first thing in the morning/ or last thing at night)I'm wondering if he has pulled something on the outside of his shoulder and is channelling the weight onto the inside leg/ inside paw.
there is no obvious heat or swelling and he's still happy to run about like a puppy and does not always present as lame.
He did have an avusion fracture of the ulna on his right hock nearly 3 years ago which has had the tendancy to make him ouchie in the past (managed with chiro & massage therapy) but this appears to be more than this now.
He gets 1000mg of Glucosamine daily but am wondering if this could be an arthritic condition?
Any one had anything similar?
He has a vet appointment booked this week although i'm not sure they will actually be able to diagnose anything given the lack of obvious symptoms
