I was in a bad smash today in the car... Some idiot pulled out in front of me on a main road, and hit me nearly head on... I was on my way up to see the neddies, and never quite made it. I spent the rest of the day, (10 hours!) on a spinal board in the A&E, having all sorts of tests and scans done, but lckily there is no lasting damage... just muscle damage and a bump on my head (but no bruise!! Poo!)

Hope everyone else had better days than me!!

yeh, they stopped - his car went on fire!! Was kinda scary... and the police took FOREVER to do what they do...

Also... Spinal boards are SERIOUSLY uncomfortable!!

Luckily my step-second-cousin was in the hospital for physio, so he sat with me - I didnt want to worry mum, she only got OUT of hospital today, after a 10day stay and 3 surgeries...

Stressful week I'd say... !

Also - neddies are moving livery yards - the current yard havent fed breakfast for 4 days this week! Not good enough.. grrr.

no- the police were suggesting partial liability on both counts - I was overtaking at a junction, but with full visability, and 25mph under the speed limit...He pulled out of a minor road, without coming to a full stop, and didnt see me.. I honked my horn three times, and he kept coming... I couldnt get stopped, and we collided head on.

Mum is police, and thinks it will most likely go 80:20 liability in my favour - at the end of the day, I had right of way on the main road... but I shouldnt have overtaken near a junction... So we'll see... Both of us were cautioned for Driving without due care, and need to go for an interview at the station with solicitors next week...

*sigh* 20 years old, 2 claims.... Insurance is going to be EXPENSIVE next year... *sigh*
