No more then £800 - if that to be honest....some people pick up NF ponies for £50 to £1!! We got ours for £50 and she was great but we had to do all the hard work - handling, breaking in etc....

Her size is against her- for the bigger ponies you may be talking about £400 but really for something to make about 13hh I'd have thought £2-300 would be realistic

Can I disagree.

The average price for filly foals and yearlings is now round about 200gns at the Beaulieu Road Sales, that figure is taken from the auction report for the sale at the end of September. There were no 2 year olds forward, so therefore no prices for them. My friend has just bought an 18 month old filly for £550 privately, which was a fair price for a pretty, well put together and well bred pony. Prices of Foresters have rocketed recently. Go to www.newforestpony.com and you will see what's on offer and for how much. Or read the sales reports for yourselves using this link. http://www.auctionmarts.com/reports/r35032.pdf
