Sorry, a how much...really need your help! Possible very big decision!

Hello everyone, sorry to do another how much but would really really appreciate your thoughts and guesstimates on this mare.

Could be the makings of a very very big decision

16.1hh, gorgeous 9 year old chestnut mare (lovely temprement, not mareish). TBxWM plus a little bit of ID - Clover Hill lines, great breeding.

Fantastic floaty paces, can do a lovely dressage test, well established lateral work (shoulder in, flying changes...), loves her work and tries very hard to please.
Jumping 3ft6 courses SJ and XC scope to go higher, verybold but can be a little careless with back legs sometimes.
Not a novice ride as can be quirky and very sensitive(one person horse) unbelievable responsive and lovely soft mouth, a real pleasure to ride, great fun.
Easy to do in every way.
Was re-broken at 7 so very low milege, loves to compete. Could make a lovely brood mare.


So what do you think??

And taking into consideration my area (south east/london) which can be pretty extortionate.

She was broken at 4 worked for a year then turned away as owner didn't have time for her (pregnancy and other issues) so they started her again from scratch at 7 so's to keep things simple at first.
 
I'm not sure but she sounds lovely, sounds a lot like my boy when I bought him. I'd be interested to know what she's worth as she sound like a lovely competition prospect. Do you have any photos?

Ok, fair enough, just checking there wasn't some underlying behavioural problem.
Gosh - its hard to put a figure on this one. Pictures of her in motion would help. Otherwise I'd guestimate around £5-7k?

Hi KatieJaye, yes she also looks suprisingly like your boy, who is lovely by the way!
Haven't got any photos to hand but will try get some this weekend.
I think she'de also make a lovely competition prospect, she certainly loves her work.
 
Thanks for your reply...yes thats what I questioned at first but it was purely a time thing, sad as it seems a bit of her waste for her not to be doing anything.
Will try and get some photos so you can get a better idea of her.

My boy fits that description so much, he was very quirky and sensitive when I bought him and a real one person horse, he's been so rewarding though. He's 15 now and is still very much enjoying his work. I don't know Louis' breeding but we've always suspected TB x. She sounds so similiar I'm intrigued to see what she looks like.
 
He is a real credit to you, such a lovely horse. What was he like when you first bought him? Had he done much?
I can see why its so rewarding, its so satisfying riding her, apart from her instructor I'm the only her person thats ridden her! She's so sensitive you have to ride so quietly and make sure your pushing the right buttons, otherwise she won't comply!
 
Thank you very much. He was 5ish when I bought him and he was VERY green. Hadn't done much just a little schooling and had popped some small jumps. He came over from Ireland and that's all I know about him before i owned him! He was a real firecracker for the first few yrs, really Loopy (hence the name!) but so much raw talent. I bought him for SJing originally but had to go back to basics with schooling as he was very green and jumped about 1000mph (and still does!) someone one day comented on his paces and how nicely he moved so I did some unaffiliated dressage and then after a couple of yrs we ended up converting to dressage completely. He was difficult for a few yrs, was sensitive like yours and threw a lot of strops! After we got through the "terrible teens" we really bonded and he's been fantastic! Such a little star! He's a pleasure to compete as he's very trusting so is generally well behaved and unspooky. He can still be a firecracker XC and SJing but is very very bold and will give most things a go...and always with his ears forward!
