So, I decided that to get the saddle fitter out to check the fit of the saddle which came with my new boy as I was not altogether happy with it and sure enough she confirmed it is not a great fit. So, I have a new one for him and now I need to sell the one he had to pay for it! I have read on here that they are not selling well on ebay at the moment so I will prob advertise it privately but have no idea what it might be worth. Its an Ideal working hunter saddle, in excellent condition apart from wear at the front of the knee rolls which I think is just normal, brown leather, very comfortable 171/2 inch and I THINK it must be a medium fit. Its a very tidy saddle, no unnecessary detail on it I guess as it is designed for showing.

Any Ideas? Pizza and Ice cream for those who read this....

Oooh hi SU *waves* I was just about to write on the rollestone thread...I think the last mare may of had her foal this afternoon!!! I am caught up in exam mode today (last one-first thing tomorrow morning!!) and havent been up there this morning but from what I gather she went into labour around early afternoon then was straining and going on and off for hours, but I have no idea whether she has had it now or not. And I never managed to get to the bottom of why the camera wasn't on! I will tell you more about the foal as soon as I know, although that may not be until tomorrow afternoon.

New boy is FANTASTIC I am so pleased with him. I am not as confident a rider as I used to be, although I wouldn't call myself nervous and was prepared for a few antics seeing as he is only 6, never done schooling and had only ever lived at the yard where he was born before he came to me BUT, he has not put a foot wrong, I have now done three schooling sessions and lots of hacks with him and I swear a complete novice could have ridden him! I am very pleased with the way he is going too.....oh alright then I will post some pics of our second schooling session if you insist! New post to follow....

I am so sorry guys and girls....I know how much you looked forward to seeing the babies! As I said, I never managed to get to the bottom of why you couldnt see anything on the cam; apparently the groom thought it was up and running so it may just of been a prob with the public view or something? Anyway, I will find out more asap, I hope you are not all too upset
