Unfortunately my circumstances have changed and it looks like I might have to sell Bane

so I wanted to get an idea of how much I would get for him.

16.3hh 10yr old German WB
100% to clip, box, shoe, handle in everyway (small children can handle him)
Has won everything at RC level – regularly qualified and placed in Style Jumping, Dressage and Riding Test at the BRC National Finals.
Now affiliated and has 24 BD points in a handful of outings (including a result at 72.4%). Always placed out dressage.
Has a small amount of BSJA winnings.
Working at Elementary/Medium level at home – just started halfpass & flying changes. More then capable of going to Medium and beyond
Jumps 1.15m at home – plenty of scope
Not the boldest XC but has been double clear around Milton Keynes, Keysoe and Ely’s Intro course.
Also loves hunting – jumps ditches and hedges with ease.

One setback is he had an eye operation this year and had the lens removed from his left eye so that would be excluded from a 5-stage vetting.

I am hoping not to sell him and may put him out on loan for a year but am considering all options.

I've jumped him up to NC height but we had to stop due to his eye op so was hoping to continue with that over the winter

As you know, I really dont want you to sell B.

I think about £6k because of the eye - you have sold his comp history short I think and really he can do equally well at sj or dressage.

B also really looks after his riders - even a nervous/novice rider can jump him up to 3 ft no problem which you dont often get with a big WB, so would be perfect for someone coming off ponies/wants a step up.

He sounds gorgeous - just the sort of horse I would want if I was in any position to buy. I would say around 7-8k as I think there is a real demand for top flight allrounders like him.
