He now has two new small fans (and some bigger ones as well I think) and was apparently very good with them both and really polite. They both practiced their steering and had a small trot. I arrived to him in a stable chilling and didnt have to walk down to the field to fetch him, which is a result as its a fairly long walk . The kids mum also came and said thanks when she saw me as did the YO and they are doing the same tomorrow evening before watching some of us from the yard jump.
Any way on that note I'm off to finish polishing mine and the ponys halo
I'm always happy for people who are interested to come and spend some time with mine. My cob has had a couple of visiting 'riders' this week who were absolutely delighted to amble up the lanes on their first ever ride. This horse loves it because its easy work.
Although my other horse isn't as suitable for beginners, she also enjoys being admired by visitors.
Everyone has to start somewhere and who knows? -introducing someone to horses could be the start of a lifelong passion.
