I decided to travel up and see how my fillys getting 0n with my mum while on the yard, were in a long block of stables a lady on the yard who I have known for many years and I must say does have a name for herself for beating her horse up, to the extent that ap she smashed a shovel across the horses back for whinnying I took that as prob gossip like chinese whispers, but as I said I was in the isle and this lady came storming round the corner into the isle went straight at her horse punched him in the face then as he jumped back banged on the door walked away a little then turned back to him picked up the nearest thing to hand which happened to be carrot and threw it in at him so it hit him in the face, I was so angry this was done because there was a horse kicking the door she herd it as she was walking to block and presumed it was her horse, I mean she is in her thirtys had horses for years and should no better am just very angry

OMG that is awful, no wonder you are angry

Well that is so very sad and disgusting, and it proves that she has a horse where she has done damage and that has lost trust in her.......poor animal.....would she like a punch,I would have found it very hard not to intervene and my intermeditate reaction would have been to have told her that this sort of behaviour was a total No No........Maybe a word to YO should be said,as I feel it total upsetting for other liveries to witness in my opinion

spiteful b*tch
poor horse, she needs a good kicking
that is just horrible. I agree a word in YO ear may help, but don't think she would be any different to be honest, she is just a bully. Hope she hasn't got kids!!

I have said to my mum maybe the ones who have witnessed this behaviour should go to yo and tell him there concerns and how upsetting it is to watch, plus the fact there are children on there and if they see an adult treat the horse in that way they might think its acceptable, I know the yo if he knew this was going on she would be gone he wont tolerate behaviour like it as i said in last post my mum looks after her for me at the moment so am not there that much but if i was and had to see it all the time i think i would loose my temper on her

some people just shouldn't have animals at all, god it dosn't matter how stressed angry i get as soon as i see my horses i just mellow, there is no reason to do anything like this at all imo.
i too would be worried about her being on a yard where children are too, as kids pick things up from people around them.
and i bet she's the kind of owner that wonders why the poor horse wont put his head over the door for a nuzzle or won't come to her in the field too.

but if your on a large yard maybe its worth a couple of you mentioning this to the yo , just so she dosn't make things arkward for your mother ect, if your away quite a lot.

That is disgusting, she should not own horses. God, maybe I'm too innocent but I didn't think people were like that, and didn't think people did things like that. How upsetting. Made me nearly cry reading it. sorry.

I asked her why she done it thats how I know it was because she presumed it was her horse kicking the door, I was very angry and did have a rant at her baisically saying even if it was him kicking the door wtf are you doing the horse is one of the safest around and its t*ats like you that turn horses into animals that are to scared or to dangerous to be handled, As far as reporting her I would love to do but the horse as the most expensive stuff is well fed and looked after, its just when she is in a bad mood the poor ned gets it so i dont knpow if it will be a case of proving it, btw when i did say something she started crying saying she had a bad day a lost it i still had no sympthay, sorry i should of put this in my first post I was just so angry
