so pony has booties doing well in them but he still has a good amount of brusing coming out so my question is should i fork out for the gel pads or does anyone have anyother advice?

I have absolutely no idea about this thread?! Your horse wears brushing boots but still brushes? Brushing boots don't stop a horse brushing just protects the leg from the brushes?

I think we are talking barefoot here?? I do think it is a good idea if we all start posts with appropriate titles so we know what we are clicking on before we do so.

It does irritate me a tad when OPs just put "help" or "rant" or "annoyed" etc as a title - sorry OP you are not the only one, so please don't feel I am picking on you.

Bit more info would be good though - bit of history and photos are always nice ;-)

Sorry having a really bad day and I did t explain that well. Yes he has had his shoes taken off due to three exit hole from an abcess and cant get shoe on. He had the cavallo simple boots and I have just gotten him some paston wraps but I wasn't sure about the gel pads.

He has some bruising coming out and was wondering if people could recommend done padding or should I just go buy the gel ones?

Gel pads are relatively cheap so yes I would get some around £12 for a pair
