My friend is about to sell her lovely horse as her O/H is quite ill

she asked me how much I thought she should sell him for but I told her I'd ask you lovely lot, so..........

He is a 16hh ISH gelding 9 years old, no vices, mainly used for SJ (owner was about to affiliate) jumping 3'3" with ease and loose jumped over 4'3". Could do a deascent dressage test, WH or eventing.Has hunted, good to load, shoe but a bit nervy when clipping.

So what do you guys think, he is a lovely lad with a lovely temprament and if I could afford him I would have him ( lou has now decided she wants an infection in her leg as from this morn, but vet said as long as she is sound (was sound this avo) I can continue normal work at the w/ e but untill then light hacking)

Lou came in with a cut on her ergot last night so I cleaned it up and put her away, I got her out this morning and it was quite swollen so I got the vet out (arrived wihing 20 mins) and they said it was a small infection( not enough to warrant box rest) to just keep it clean, turn her out as normal and take her for light hacks (walking) untill the weekend when *fingers crossed* she should be sound and return to normal work.

I got her in tonight and the swelling has gone down quite a bit and is only about 2/10 lame. shes on a course of norodine for 5 days ........vet says its quite superficial but will see how she is on friday

He sounds the sort that lots of people are looking for, assuming he's fairly straight and hasn't any issues or ifs & buts.
That being the case I'd say an easy £5k.

I have a friend looking for just this sort of horse, she has £3.5K or would stretch to £4K if it came with tack and rugs.
Could you PM me details and a photo please.
