Evented to Novice or Medium level, Dressage to Prix St Georges,
jumps 6ft from standing.
100% in all ways, 100% bombproof hack, complete schoolmaster, snaffle mouth, hunted.

Please!!

This is not my forte I'm afraid. I'm not a dressage person, but even bearing in mind the age, I would not think that she would get much change from £4,500.

He does jump 5ft from standing, i was in a rush as my tea was calling! £10?? agghh, what a bargin!

is that £10k?

Age is very much against him.
Evented to medium level? Theres no such thing but never mind!
If he is seriously still out competing at PSG (not just schooling at it) then he may be worth upwards of 6k

Impossible to say really. I presume you mean an intermediate eventer which makes him fairly capable BUT most people wouldn't want to buy a 16 y.o. with the intention of trying to get several years eventing out of him. The dressage is slightly different though as there's obviously less wear & tear if someone wants to do that at an average level for a few years. If he's grey, he may already have melonomas which would decrease his value - if he's been heavily competed he'd have high mileage which could put lots of people off...

The problem is that he is most valuable to someone wanting to compete at the highest level he has already achieved, but that person is likely to be put off by his age, but may take a chance on him for the right price. That said, a well-off person who wants a schoolmaster for a bit of everything may value him far more that a serious competitor - and if that's the case, name your price! Certainly you'll find non-competitive but well-off people buying this sort of decent horse for £10k...

I would personally be put off by a gelding of that age particularly with the milage associated with eventing. However, if I had the resources & land to take a chance & let him retire when he's ready then maybe he'd be worth £5k for the opportunity to ride a quality horse.
