i'm interested in buying this :-18.3hh clydesdale cross 17 year old gelding, does hacking , pleasure rides atm. not really sure how much he'd be worth due to his age.
as a 5 year old they paid £3200 but don't want this much, they asked me to make them an offer but not really sure.

About £1000. I have a 17.3 and he is plenty big enough. 18.3 is huge - if you do get him, you will have to post some photos!

Not a great deal. A horse this size is what I would call 'high maintenance'! He isn't going to fit anything off the peg (rugs/tack etc), he's probably going to cost more to shoe, and he's certainly going to take some feeding, especially as you say he is underweight.

The figure they paid for him as a five year old, I'd knock a nought off and take it from there!
