Sorry, another 'How Much'

I am shortly hoping to be loaning a 15.2 Connie x, aged 15. He has been a field ornament for several years due to owners lack of time and is just starting to come back into light work, i.e. 20 mins light hacking.
The owner now says that she would probably like to sell him. I asked her if she had a figure in mind and she said she didn't but would have a look in H&H.
I was thinking of offering £500. What do you think? Is this too little?
He is good in traffic, a forward going but safe ride.

Guess it depends what he could get back to doing but wouldn't be far off.....especially as having been off for a efw years you won't really know what he is like to ride/soundness etc til you get him fit again! Would save her alot of time/money to sell as is!
