ok, Details (he isn't for sale, just interested)

Registered Welsh D gelding, by Coednewydd Comet, out of Moelgiliau Princess Clare. Liver Chestnut, 15yrs old in April, 14.1hands.
Done SJ, XC, Teamchasing, Games, Showing, M&M WHP.
Won Many rossettes and Trophies, jumping consitantly clears and very fast agianst the clock. Won the M&M WHP at Moorgreen County, Came 7th in the Pre-novice Grasshoppers at Solihull in Feb - first outing since september and was clear. Happily jumps rounds up to 3'6/3'9. Not a novice ride for jumping, although will take my nervous 12yrs sister on hacks happily

No idea how much (although his age is against him) but it does remind me why I love Welshies so much.

I think he is wonderful, have always admired him, but, because of age and the fact he is not straightforward jumping, I would say you could easily get £3500 for him.

Yeh but i just love him...its what i'd pay! Hes fantatsic, plus i wouldn't care about him being 15 as long as he is healthy. Well my cob is 24 and in full work!

But yeh your right on the market you probably wouldn't get 6k, more like 4.

I think you'd struggle to get £3.5k tbh.

I got just under 4k for Paris - similar type but 12 years old.

Fab horse but I've found so many people get put off by age - anything over 8 is getting on in their opinion!

I'd say 3k?
 
The only reason he isn't straight forward for jumping is that he can be strong, but he never stops and rarely knocks a pole, is just a little keen lol!

Thanks for your replies, as you say, he is definatly priceless to me and will spend the rest of his days with us
