I am experimenting with a myler eggbutt bit with slots at the moment (hence my earlier post about the curb chain) and I was wondering if anyone else used one of these? If so, do you have a problem when you attach the reins to the bottom slot. When I do this the rein seems to snag in that is no longer completely flat and straight, its as if when it is attached to the hook it isnt at quite the right angle (before you ask, yes I have got the bit the right way up
!!)
