If you dont renew your policy but you have 6 months remaining on a claim, will the insurance company keep paying out or now you are not with them anymore will they not pay, the contract reads as if as long as your animal is having treatment before the renewal date they will pay till the end of the yr or till u reach the limit.

Sorry for all the questions but im not good with jargon!

I believe that they will pay for 12 months after the treatment has started but some policys I have read say so long as they are still insured with them.

Depends who you're insured with, maybe give them a call?

NFU paid out for 12 months after the date of my claim, even after the policy was cancelled

I was insured with Petplan and they paid out for 12 months after the policy was cancelled.
