Sorry bit advice needed

My girl is in a Kimblewick as found this gives me brakes, but she has started opening her mouth to avoid contact, would a drop nose band be to much? Can't change bit to much as fussy doesn't like one jointed bits or loose rings so gags won't work.
 
A drop noseband would interfere with the curb action of the kimblewick. Personally if she has started to evade I would change the bit to something without the curb as she may be finding it a bit too much.
 
Doesn't matter that she opens her mouth as the curb chain holds the bit against the mouth.

Try doing the curb chain up differently, put the chain through the rings of the bit instead of behind, it could be that the placement of the chain is causing her lips to be pinched between the mouthpiece and the chain.
 
A mullen/ported mouthpiece can put a lot of pressure across the tongue or bars if a horse is pulling - I would assume she is opening her mouth to try and escape this.

I would consider some form of snaffle in conjunction a kineton noseband which would spread the rein pressure between the bit and across the nose.
 
Kineton not sure if way to go as heard mixed reviews and I'm worried I may use incorrectly. Horse is rising 5 but has found 3rd & 4th gears so is very forward even more so within company, hoping it's just the newness but don't want to encourage, she is trying to jog if I give her more rein she will just try trotting full Speed or of road cantering ( this isn't all the time but 40% of hack), I just feel awful almost hanging on her mouth sitting deep/back keeping legs away from sides etc.. Makes no difference, just a forward horse. School she is perfect, its just hacking, and this is what I do 99% of the time. :0(
