Without also cats, I couldn't resist bumping this thread from Soapbox, Egg Gump still only has 57 Facebook friends and needs 43 more if WoopsiiD should win her bet. ( http://www.horseandhound.co.uk/forums/showflat.php?Cat=0&Board=soapbox&Number=4612666 )

There has been a minor mutiny though

, it is no longer Gump tabby-cat in the photo, without Egg the blue and white-cat (I don't know why cat people call grey blue but they do). Here's a link to their Facebook page http://www.facebook.com/home.php?ref=home#/profile.php?id=577299049 if anybody feel they want to help.

Click on this link http://www.facebook.com/home.php?ref=home#/profile.php?id=577299049 , click the button that says Add as friend, then it opens a box/window where you click a button that says Send a friends request, you might also be asked to confirm that you can read and type two random words and that is all you have to do. Then Facebook send an e-mail to Egg Gump (or in this case, to the owner WoopsiiD) so that he/she can confirm that they want you as friend and then you'll be Facebook friends.

For the future, if I send another HHO:er a Facebook request, after clicking the Add as friend, in the box/windows that opens there is also a button that says Add a message, I click that and writes "Hello, I'm FinnishLapphund from HHO." before clicking the button that says Send a friends request and voila, my message will be seen in the e-mail sent.

Otherwise the e-mail contains a standard message from Facebook, together with a link to a Facebook-page where you will see a photo of the person sending the request (if they have uploaded one, I f.ex. use my avatar that I have on here) and you can also see if you have any Mutual friends and/or the other friends they have. And there is three buttons, Accept as friend, Ignore this user and Send a message.

I've read some people on HHO say that if there isn't any message saying how they might know the sender, they click the Facebook link in the e-mail and if the Facebook picture contains a horse or if the friends of the one sending you the request, have horses in their pictures, they presume that it is another HHO:er and click the Accept-button. Otherwise you can always send them a message asking who they are/how they might know you and wait on their answer before deciding to accept or ignore the friends request.
