Why is the same football match on bbc1 and ITV? I know this is not horse related but just gotta get it off my chest!
I am here laying on my get well bed, and the world cup is on both bloody channels!
Also, is it only me that gets annoyed with weather presenters when they say its going to be another lovely day tommorrow? No its not!! Its gonna be bloody hot, sticky, humid, no air, sweaty and sticky! Whats nice about that! I hate it! Just as much as I hate football!
Having a real Victor Meldrew moment, sorry!!!
 
just be glad you don't live in scotland! The BBC weatherman announced the other night that we've had our summer! No more good weather to look forward to throughout July and August. Its the smug way they say it too!
Still I wouldn't enjoy the hot sticky weather either, especially at night.
And as for the world cup the best thing about it has been Paul the psychic octopus!
 
Didn't realise that, how bloody stupid. Just said to OH why is that and he just shrugged and goes "it's only two channels, what's wrong with that?" Men!!!!!
Flipping boring match anyway!
 
I've just got back from visiting my friend and her horse and we and the rest of the yard have been discussing which actor/footballer etc etc we think is down right sexy! ;)

We all knew our OH would be watching the footy so stayed and had a fab chat over a mug of hot choccy/tea etc been great

Feel free to continue if bored :D
 
Even more fun - if nobody scores in the next 12 minutes there's another 30 mins of extra time and penalties to look forward to......great!

I am with you all the way. If you want to start a club about hating football and hot sticky weather I will be the first to join :D
 
and now bloody extra time!!! then possibly penalties!! Then the men thinking they know what they are talking about analyse the **** way the game has gone......so why bother!!!
 
Hels_bells I like Top Gear! Apparently this is the last series :(

Blooming Football! Surely one channel is enough, after all you have 2 hours of the actual match, then another 2 hours dissecting the original 2 hours of football! Grrr!
 
Yes, I keep getting "Watch this, watch this!" as they replay something in slow motion and I am supposed to be interested in the tackle or whatever it is they are doing....and yes, my OH does keep making comments as if he is actually part of the match.......
 
Ive just got home from the yard, lovely hack out, roads deserted. OH asleep on the sofa watching the footie, oh joy, extra time. I am just about to walk the dogs, then retire to my hot, sticky bedroom to watch something else. Im with you Benson 21, I hate football and I hate hot weather, I am such a grumpy old woman sometimes!!

Our weather is **** - I almost got blown away trying to lunge my boy this morning
