Please, explain to me what does fashion have to do with horse welfare? Is the colour of my breeches influencing my horses? Does it matter that their supplements come in silver coloured cans?
Most of what you are talking about is absolutely harmless...
As to the rest - training aids and different bits have been around for a long time... as has been rapping for example, and progress, scientific research and modern technology brought about ban on such a practice - surely, that's a good thing?
Out of interest, do you still mix mouldy bread with spider web or have you moved on to powdered antibiotics?
