A friend has been out of the horsey world for a few years, so imagine her excitement at all the glitter in Robinsons these days. She was tempted to buy some even though she's horseless. I didn't know there were blingy chaps til recently though. If you used all the bling in there you'd be visible from the mooooon!

So...are we saying bling is not just fashion but has a real function too?
lol well from some of the stories on here, that seems to happen fairly often (or almost happen) anyway. So at least they'l have a better chance of getting their aim right
I knew there would be a few pages to catch upon when I got back from feeding the horses!!

Maths might not be my strong point, but I do know that all the thousands of horses that have been rescued and those that haven't yet didn't and won't come from me I know where each and every one of mine is and it's not filling rescue centres because I bought it on a whim dressed it in the latest pink or diamonte and the tossed it away when I got a new toy

Why does buying pink accessories and swarovski crystal browbands for your horse mean its going to end up in a rescue centre??
I too know where very single one of my horses is, I also know where the majority of the ones I have sold are... (even the one that went through HAPPA because her owner died suddenly...but then you probably think that they're a bad owner for getting a brain tumour!) my mare wears pink and i've just bought her a lovely swarovski crystal bridle... coming to think about it my stallion has some pink accessories as well as some bling! I have supplements in my feed room and a few gadgets in my tack room... I don't see why this makes me a bad horse owner... sorry but if your arguement was abit more factually based and well thought out rather than sweeping statements that tarnish everyone who uses certain items with the same brush people would probably take you more seriously!!
Btw for anyone that was interested... we really did blow dry my horses mane
