Sorry - its a rug question. Cottage craft

My pony is only 13.1hh but wears a 5ft 6 rug. He's quite short in the leg and im finding the only rug which doesn't drown him (where they go way all the way to the knees) is the Saxon. Normally this would be great as they are cheap but i find they can leak a bit.

I really need a 5ft 6 PONY rug and its actually remarkably difficult to find them at a price I can afford but i've found a cottage craft pony one.

I'd wondered if anybody had any experience of them of if I should just stick to the saxon.

ps - I've tried Mark Todd, Horseware (Wug, Rambo and Amigo), Landa and Taka freestyle's and Fal.

My friend has this problem with her welsh Sec B as she is long but tiny. She found Horseware Rhino fitted well.

Ive got a cottage craft rug for my pony. Shes a small section a - the cottage craft rug is massive around the neck, it slips back to well behind her withers

Ive found the best rug for her is the Shires highlander one
