That's cool anyway - we all make our own choices

Maybe it was the total change of environment & routine that upset his tummy very slightly?

He met the clipping lady's dog today (she lives nearby & is going to come & see him twice a day on the odd day that I'm in London) & he was 100% fine with both of them.

Postman turned up today & let himself onto the yard when the dog was 'helping' me move some hardcore. Kane has never met him, and trotted up to him in his own good time not barking or growling, & wanted him to join in the ball game!!! I've got the feeling that if we had intruders on the yard in the night & I let him out to deal, he'd just bring them his ball to throw...

Postman was bringing my Rottweilers for Dummies book, so perhaps I'll be able to leave you lot alone for 5 mins...

I would change from Bakers as that and Wagg can make them hyper. I feed my 2 yr old Rottie St John Silver and you sound like your feefing more than he/she needs!
My Rottie weighs 55 kilos and we measured a mug and worked out how much he needs per instructions on bag and split it in 3 meals.
You also sound like you need to make firm commands it would be worth you taking me to obedience classes not just for your dog but for you to.

Also Tommy goes to toilet on command and we did this by - when he did do poo we would repeat the word toilet good boy! he tended to go in same area so we then then sent him over using the toilet word and he went. never looked back.

With regards to getting on sofa or you then when he is looking for attention command sit (if doesn't no word then use treat to teach) once he sits reward with calm affection - stroking inbewteen eyes on top of head and chin will relax him. you can encourage head to lean on lap but if he gets too excited then withdraw and either start again with sit command or ignore or send to his bed. really depends on what works best.

Good luck!

A lot of cheaper foods dont have a high meat content try looking at the feeding rate the less you feed the less you have to pick up.I feed Oscars wheat/gluten free my dogs are show dogs as well and got a 1st and 2nd at Crufts so i feel i am doing something right . Only my opinion.
