Firstly, well done to everyone who competed at Addington, it was a really good show.

Sorry, but I am just a proud Mummy with my daughter coming 5th in the Nov Open, topping it off with a 9 from Sandy Philips for a medium trot - I think we may have to frame the sheet! Hoping we may pick up a wild card.

Bombed out in the Ele Open today though! Combination of a late night, early test and overcooked horse plus C judge having them 11th out of 44 and the M judge having them 2nd from last! Hey ho that's dressage for you! Live to fight another day.

It was also great to meet The Carthorse and it was lovely to share their excitement of a qualification. Go Rafi & Claire!

Just got home now and really shattered - can't cope with those nerves - reckon I get my daughters' as well as mine! Off for a large glass of wine!

Well, from one proud mummy to another, well done!

Not only have we come away from Addington, resolved to get ready for the Champs, but as you can see I've come straight back and logged in to this forum as you so highly recommended me to.

Looks like it's going to be fun!!!

Enjoy your wine, very deserved it is too.
 
awww yeah can't wait um 30th October this year!!! OH is going out to Afgan though, when baby is old enough pony club - cant wait lol, OH will probs want army cadets too - bet it makes you feel complete doesn't it??
 
Well done you! Great achievement for both Mummy & Daughter me thinks! Champagne for the Champs is a must! Here's hoping we may have a wild card so we can share it with you! LOL
 
Well done, fingers crossed for the wild card then..you will be totting up the scores from all the regionals now!!!!! (I did one year and think I drove everyone on this forum bannanas!!!) Got to be done!!!!..

Ps.... did you walk past and say something to me when I was sitting having my coffee and ciggies!!! Were you with hubby and young girl, presume your daughter??
 
You should be proud ,your daughter rode beautifully and your horse is lovely. Wish we could have spoken more, I saw her test indoors and it was lovely ,very difficult to do a test right up to the glass!!!
I will be looking for your regular reports now.

Thanks. Don't think we will get the wild card though as so many had high scores at Kingston Maurward.

FP did really well - Mum was soooooooooo thrilled.

Are you doing anything this year with BYRDS?
