My chap was with another rider, and we registered him in his name, just because it was cheaper... I am now getting him back, and will registed BSJA, so will i be able to ride him.

So, can I change him into my ownership free of charge when we come to renew his membership, and is there anyway we can do it before then.. and how much would it cost?
(i dont mine him being in their name for the remainder of his membership if its going to cost alot)

Taa :)

Once you are registered you can compete him provided the person whos name he is registered under remains a current member.
Once the horses registration expires you will need to do a change of ownership which just happens to cost the same as registering the horse and gives the horse 12 months registration. So I guess the change of ownership is in reality free. However, if you wnat to change horse in to your name before then you will still have to do a change of ownership at full cost but will then get the 12 months registration from that point.
