What is the difference between an Irish draught x Thoroughbred and a Irish Thoroughbred?
Or are they the same?

My horse is classed as an Irish Thoroughbred but I always thought it meant he was ID X TB????

I'm so confused

Irish TB is Bred in Ireland and ID is type of breed... hope this clears this up... I have irish TB!!!

Irish Draught x Thoroughbred is original crossing for an Irish Sports Horse, perhaps you're getting it mixed up with that?

Irish Draught x Thoroughbred = Irish Sport Horse

Irish Thoroughbred is a TB bred in Ireland from Irish parents, they are slightly stockier than English TBs

Well that explains his behaviour sometimes then

I don't have his breeding, I would love to find out though

All I know is he was bought over from Ireland as a 4 year old and was called Gerry
