I just HAD to share...

My Olympic tickets arrived today!! :D:D:D:D:D

I only applied for them the night before they 'stopped being available' last April. And I thought I had nothing to lose. Still can't quite believe that I have them... ME? I mean ME!?

so, to those that have tickets, have yours arrived yet?

And to those who don't have any, sorry again about this gloating post, but hope you can settle down on the sofa and watch without any disruptions.
 
Good for you, what are you going to see? Will hopefully watch some on the tv, but hoping people will be so glued to there screens that the hacking will be quiet!
 
I wanted to say a huge YEY too!! I never thought we'd get them either, me and my mum got tickets to see the xc, got them in the first sale too, they arrived yesterday, so excited now!!
 
Meeeeee!! I got tickets for the dressage and sj/medal ceremony phases of eventing. Course now i'm wishing I have XC tickets. Some people are never happy! :)
 
I haven't had mine yet! Did you get an email first or did they just appear? I received my official programme yesterday but no sign of any tickets yet....hope they haven't got lost in the post :eek:

I am going to see the individual dressage, hoorah! :D
 
You should get an email or text on the day saying that they will be delivered. If you don't answer the door then it goes back and you get one of those little cards saying where you can pick it up from.

It's the men's 5000m final - she was a middle distance runner in her day and wants to see Mo Farah (is it?). Just the one ticket, for an evening session, and not the most expensive :o - though she will also see the final of the men's 4x100, which will be as good as the 100m final, I reckon. So she'll see Usain Bolt :D

ETS and she will actually *see* them now, as she's just had her cataract op!

I really hope she has good seats and enjoys her time at the stadium. I'd have loved to go there too, but the £££ put me off that somewhat!!!
 
Thanks FM, I think she'll have a fab time. I'd like to go just to wander round the park and have a look, but will be looking after dad :) I am envious of her seeing the stadium tho - bet it'll be amazing.
 
Wandamare - don't panic ! We starting delivering them two weeks ago and they seem to come in batches so don't worry you will get them. They're 'tracked' so there is a record of them arriving at the delivery office and then to you (not a sign for item) theyre in an A4 size envelope which is made of card so you may have to collect if they don't go through your letterbox or you're not in. :)
