Sorry, too much time to think

With my current 4. The 2 ponies Ive had for years, they were my original very first ones (now 17 and 20yrs old)! My parents bought him (and the shetland as a companion) for me as a present when I was young so didnt get any choice in the matter but my instructor tried him out and knew he'd suit me which he did

With my Welsh Cob, I didnt actually try him.... or see him in the flesh before buying him! I saw some a video of him and that was it. He was in Wales, Im in NE Scotland so not exactly nearby. I was having great problems finding a large Welsh D so he suited and was only 3 and just backed so I figured he'd be a clean sheet.

With my grey, I went to see him on this very day about 4 years ago. He was cowering in the back of a stable at a busy stud yard looking furry, thin, very wet and so quiet I thought he'd been doped! I couldn't ride very well as the outdoor school was frozen solid. I remember feeling he was very green and so narrow! BUT he had that temperament where I could see he was so honest. And he looked like he needed to be loved so badly. We agreed to have him on trial but she phoned up saying some other people had made an offer on him the next day! So it was either buy or loose him. Best decision I ever made.
 
i got izzy cause she chose us walked right upto my mum when i was riding her on a long rein (owners were in the other corner) we just fell in love and the fact my mum (scared of horses) felt safe around her clinched the deal tbh. Plus i had never seen a spotty pony in real life before and she had grey eyebrows, and a question mark in spots on her bum so that had to count for something

I just loved his character and temprament, he wasn't what I was looking for at all, I was imagining getting a native type no bigger than 15hh! I only went to look at George because he was near by and had a nice looking face and when I rang up the owner said he would be an ideal first horse. When I first got there and saw him ridden I actually said 'oh no he really is too big' but she encouraged me to hop on and just have a walk - well that was it, as soon as I got on I felt so safe.
 
when i was first introduced to Linx, i was looking for a ride & he was just a friend of the person showing me around. he was in the field & she said a bit about him then the next time i went up he was in & i showed him to dad & we both fell in love with him. my dad has liked all my loan ponies but he instantly clicked with Linx & they have a very special bond

Daddy = no riding & lots of treats!!
