Sound paddock ornaments

This is her "before and after" - I can excuse her brain being a bit scrambled having been to this state....

I don't mind looking a at a lawnmower when they are that beautiful. She is equally tricky on the floor and you don't ever go in a stable with her, but in the field she is a loving confident sweet mare that will come up to you seeking affection.

(Interesting I now have a huge problem with her weight, she never has hard food just hay and grass and is perpetually verging on obese - maybe altered metabolism? But thats another thread in itself!)

WOW what a difference!

I have 2 field ornaments, 1 was retired through injury, so we an let her off.

The other is a complete gremlin. The naughtiest, cheekiest, funniest pony ever! One min your best friend next your upside down in a ditch! We got her when I was 6 it took untill I was 8 for us to go anywhere. She was a complete gem when I tried her (turns out she was sedated, never mind) turned into the green eyed monster when we got home, rearing, bolting & generally taking the P**s! We found out that she had been passed from home to home quite a few times & we were damned if we were going to let that happened so she has stayed ever since at least we know where she is & that she is safe!

Plus when I outgrew her what would we have advertised her as? 12hh split personality monster needs an extra strong but sensitive tiny rider (bit of a tall order!):D She is now 26 & happy at tanking round the field & pulling our arms off round the roads when we take her out!
