Hello!!

Now... beaches... I know Camber Sands is restricted at this time of year for horse riders, so are there others that anyone can recommend? What about Pevensey, Cooden etc? Any info about where to park etc. would also be great!!

Thank you!!

Emily xx

I went to Cooden beach the other evening, it was fab but you have to walk down stones/pebbles to get to the sandy bit. There's loads of parking in the bay too. We parked at The Star and rode down the road as Hannahs boyfriend is the manager there

Which was great for a 1/2 lager afterwards lol!

There's always West Wittering but not at all sure about what times people can ride on it

Would imagine now that it's the summer season, would have be to very early morning

Worthing way there is a lovely beach one of the riding schools in area use it all the time, think you would have to check with council but it has a large car park there as well

Cooden beach is great althought you need to check the tide length is over 6 to get any sand! there are no restrictions and if you go in the week its usually empty. You do have to walk across cobbles though to get to the sand but even my barefoot horse manages fine so its not really a problem! Beware of walking through water where you cant see the bottom thought as there are a few holes and patches of sinking sand around.
