I have a young member on a south east horsey forum who has had her 3 horses stolen by someone who was supposed to be loaning them but cut off all contact after two months.

The horses, Ben, Dolly and Charlie, are thought to be in Kent, their owners live in Essex, and I'd be really appreciative if any South East/East Anglian members would keep eyes and ears peeled to see if that wonderful power of forums that we've seen before can't help get these ponies back to their rightful owners. From what I can gather from chatting to her and her mum, the police have been uncooperative.

For a link to more information, pictures and contact details please PM me as I don't know if I'm allowed to put it directly here.

Thank you.

Please put it on here direct, it's ashford sales next week and if you have a poster I can out a few up round there as it will be very busy.

Please PM me the link as well - I might be at the sales next week so there will be plenty of us to keep an eye out

Poor girl, what a horrible thing to happen. Twice I've found the perfect loan home for my mare then chickened out at the last minute because I'm so scared something like this could happen

Me too please, athough I'm almost certain I've heard of this before. Didn't the owner used to post here? Anyway, please pm m as I'm in Kent.

Could you C&P and post details in Stolen section please

There is a difficulty getting onto Stolen Horse register if police will not give a Crime Number but should surely provide an Incident Number

Could you ask if Horsewatch/Missing Horses on Loan are involved

Probably best to keep that info pm, don't give too much away in public.
It's not difficult to get horses on to Horsewatch without a crime number. Last time I looked there were plenty up there, including a pony legally in the possession of a lady I know.
