Hi,

For anyone who rides in South Weald Park in Essex, please could you join this facebook group?

http://www.facebook.com/carina.lewis#!/groups/parkincidents/

It appears that a woman with 2 spaniels frequently sets her dogs on to Horses, my friends Horse was hit by the woman and then when my friend dismounted the woman tried to hit her and her husband has been threatening her. The dogs are spaniels, one brown and one brown and white. They were also set on my friends Horse, but luckily as Horse was booted up, the only damadge done was too the boots.

The matter is currently being investigated by the police and park rangers. If you are a victim of this woman please join the group and report your accident, to use as evidence against this horrible woman.

oh my god that is only a couple of minutes from me!! I havent ridden in there as yet as usually go the other way down the side of the golf course but so often have near misses with golf balls, I was gonna try the park, what a terrible woman...hope she gets everything she deserves!

If a dig bites another animal, is that the same as a person i.e is it destroyed?

It's a shame as it's a lovely place to ride. I rode round it when I tried out my mare. I bought her off the girl whos Horse was hit.

Apprently the woman said that Horses should not be allowed to ride through the park. It is a public bridleway though, only certain areas are off limits too Horses and the accidents occured on the bridleways.

OMG that is where I hack. It does really p**s me off when dog walkers let their dogs go for you on the horse half of the park, but she is taking to another level!!! What a nut job!
I will let everyone at my yard know!!!

Hi, this is an appeal to all riders who may go to South Weald park please. Our family's black lab has gone missing in the park, any help you can provide to search the park would be greatly appreciated please. If anyone riding there can keep their eye out for her, we would be very grateful. Her name is Maisy and she is 1 years old, there are posters out across the park. Maisy pulled on her lead and her collar broke as she ran off, so is not wearing a collar. She is very friendly and is safe to approach if you see her. She is also used to horses. Maisy was lost at the visitors centre car park at South Weald Country Park. She is a very much loved family member and we want her back home safely. There is a reward for her return. Please kindly see the link below for further information.

Sorry to hear about your dog, we lost a dog a while back and managed to get her back by putting up posters, we got everyone together and printed 100's and posted on every tree, lamp post, shop window etc that we could, we stayed up most of the night doing it and luckliy got the dog back within 48hours and it had been found and then sold in a pub.
Luckily because of the ridiculous amount of signs we had put everywhere the guilt factor must have worked and she was returned.

Hi all, thank you so much for your messages of support!! Just to let you know, Maisy has been found this morning. A kind lady recognised her from the posters we have been putting up so she is now home safe and well. Thank you!!!!!!

Has there been any updates on this woman with the 2 spaniels?

I am over there quite alot so will keep an eye out if she is still on the loose!
