Hi guys - just trying to plan my season and wondered if anyone knows anything about the new event at Bickenhall...

Trying to decide whether to go there or Broadway (as both are a bit of a trek from West Wales!)

Any info greatly appreciated.

Either the intro or pre-novice. Been to Broadway before for the intro - nice inviting course - may poss do the PN this time.

Done a couple of seasons of intro and PN. ( Well half seasons really as neddy likes to go lame about June/July time!!)

Broadway PN is also a lovely course, really nice and inviting and not at all up to height so perfect early one. I wouldn't recommend the novice there though - I always thought it'd be a perfect first time one but actually it didn't seem to flow at all and I found all the distances really short!

Thanks - I also thought that it looked like a nice first time novice apart from the narrow step up combination at about fence 4/5!

Hopefully if ned stays sound then I can do some PNPs later in the year *touches wood and crosses fingers* with the aim of doing a Novice.

*whispers* that's now in the PN and it rides really well, promise! (Assume you mean the one by the woods not the one towards the end which is step up, step down then skinny which goes through the hedgeline?)

It rides fine - they've moved the hanging log back for it being in the PN - it was a bounce step up now you get a stride on top to play with.

Yes, just make sure you've done some hill work first! Lots tire as the entire first half of the course is uphill and it is a long old drag!

There is a skinny which used to be by a hedgeline but is now in the middle of a field (fallen branch with carved owl) which for some inexplicable reason catches lots of people out every year, but in general it is a lovely first time PN course.

We're generally (crosses all fingers!) ok with skinnies! MAy do Stafford as first PN anyway, depends how he comes out feeling. Thanks though
