Where the hell did they come from? Anyone else got problems? I'm in Holsworthy N. Devon and from nowhere we seem to have 50 mph gusts! Was out on hack when it started, glad i'm back.

Am in Barnstaple at the moment and blimey has it just whipped up here

Good ole British weather, there really is nothing like it

Its dreadful here too (West Somerset) - wind and rain. Just got the horses in as I had taken their rugs off this morning - oops poor things!

its windy here but not that bad yet it will get here soon i can tell! Last time we had bad winds my horse lost the top of his stable whilst i was away in the sun! (guilty)

Same in Derbyshire...and cold...boy is it cold! I looked out on my boy earlier and he seemed to be bracing himself against it...but in all honesty I think he was trying to stop being lifted off as his rug was acting like a big parachute on his back!!!!!!

I'm in Padstow (north cornwall) and it is tipping down and blowing a hulleeee.Luckily i rode this morning. Will probably have to go back up and either up the rugs or bring in for the night.

Its eased off here now. Oh well, all 4 are in now (instead of usual 2) and stuffing their faces! My husband now has 4 to rug and put out tomorrow morning, I won't be popular!

Had a very exciting ride this afternoon in Gloucestershire. Felt like riding in one of those snow globes that just been shaken - very turbulant with millions of leaves swirling around! Needless to say, horse was quite 'forward going' and was glad to get back in one piece.

Yep crash was north bound, stuff scattered over hard shoulder and first lane not sure what was but some sort of container!

Got to chiro with about a min to spare but was having to actually turn into wind to keep straight!!!

Sods law! My lad has been in the last couple of weeks overnight due to his mud fever - all cleared up so put him out on Monday - now look at the weather!

Little sod didn't want to come in...wind and rain was a good excuse to gallop around....so he can stay out and I'll have to start the process all over again!
