my yard is yelverton, near tavistock, and some of the people use jethros
they will deliver small bales, but i dont know if they would deliver to north devon, maybe worth a ring
john dorse used to do hay and straw, hes in willand, if he dosnt now hed be able to tell you someone else that does,
last year i found my hay man by ringing some of the farmers from the yellow pages, beware... no affence but they are not all the most intelligent bunnies and it takes time and patiance, but i git there im still paying 2.50 per bales for the small ones and he delivers free and helps to unload and stack!
Thanks.. I usually get mine off my 'friends' for £1.50 but they decided to sell all their hay this year without telling me. They usually keep back enough for them and me but I was told a couple of days ago that there is only 4 broken bales left apart from the 80 she's put aside for herself
. I have 2 horses and 4 ponies to feed this year!!
Feel a bit let down tbh especially as we helped bring all the hay in from the field and stack it as we do every year
Bridgemans is just up the road from me..will ask them. Do Mole Valley sell hay?..didn't know that! Mind you they always have plenty of local ads up don't they?..Thanks
