I live in Southampton but the horses are kept inthe New Forest area. For me DIY £35 pw but can be a lot less on some of the smaller private yards. Large bale haylage about £35 large bale hay £35 - £40 small hay bales £6. Shavings currently £6.75 not sure about straw. Everything seems to have increased in price this winter but I guess thats not just here.
I pay £25p/w, that is for stable and grazing. The owner also feeds, changes rugs and turns out, which is included in the price. We have a horse walker and school and free trailer parking.
I pay £32.50 (strange amount I know) for a large bale of haylage and £2.50 for a small bale of straw. Ive been looking around and most average at around £20-30 p/w for diy
I am at Shedfield Equestrian (close to Wickham) on DIY but it offers all services and has vacancies if you are still looking!
I pay £25 per week diy- stable and grazing only. Nice grazing with good fencing out every day but do have to stay in overnight during the summer too (which is not as bad as it sounds and have new YM who is hoping to get 24/7 over the summer.
Nice sand school with floodlights and jumping field in the summer. Hacking is not brilliant but close-ish to the old railway line and there is riding on the common so some offroad but the yard is on a fairly busy road but most people hack out no problems.
Lots of different stables/ yards on the site to choose form and a real mix of people on horses. farrier on site and tack/ fee shop. Main downside is you have to but all feed, bedding and hay from the shop but on the upside its on your pallet every Monday morning!
