will definately agree with that

At least you can admit to being one! The other nine just like to send pm's!!

Your comments were very nasty, and bullying. For a long term member of this forum, I am quite shocked by your words. Perhaps it would have been better to withhold all comments.

A lot of assumptions - you know what they say - never assume anything as it makes an ASS out of U and ME.

So you'll be the perfect 10 will you JM07.....

i didnt assume anything.....f_s assumed i had assumed, when infact i hadn't assumed anything of the sort

[/ QUOTE ]

I didn't assume anything, I asked if you were a mind reader!!!

Obviously not!

No offence JM but the first thing that comes to your mind is people's appearance, then try not to be so shallow.

Wimbles I happen to think that you look like you had a really good time, and from what I can see you look fab + nice turn out

How many have read this today...before wimbles reply, and thought exactly what i have...

[/ QUOTE ]

Actually, i read Wimble's post and saw her pictures and thought,"fantastic, a larger lady on a finer type of horse, and they both look as if they are having a whale of a time."

I am sick of being told that I ought to be riding something that looks like it should be pulling a milkfloat, just because I'm not a size 6. That horse doesn't look squashed at all, he looks pretty happy with his job, and he is absolutely beautiful as well.

mindreader is not ludicrous! You told everyone that we all thought exactly the same!!

Since when do you control people's thoughts???

Opinions are allowed yes, however I doubt you accept others all of the time. Personally, I would walk away and come back when you feel that you can make a grown up comment.

Hysterical and ludicrous are emotions that I certainly don't feel at the moment. However, you are about to tell me, with your incredible insight, that is exactly how I am feeling at the moment!!!

I will however, tell the rest of the HHO's on here that I do feel that these comments, involving Wimble, are quite out of order!

Perhaps JM07 you should learn to keep your council!

I don't know, I'd much rather a well balanced overweight rider (and the reason for the weight doesn't matter imho) on a fine horse than a bad, lightweight rider who pulls and leans and destroys the horse.

There is NO WAY that horse could look so beautiful and effortless as he does in that photo if he were unhappy. God, mine has a complete temper tantrum if it's slightly windy, or he decides he doesn't want to trot on the left rein twice.

'Back in the day' TBs weren't just for jockeys, and made stagecoach horses too, and I doubt there is much difference pulling a heavy coach with people in, and just one rider. The horse would look unhappy - it doesn't. If anything it looks very, very keen.

The horse is absolutely beautiful and a real credit to you. I do love a TB but yours is something special

Dear Wimbles - I do hope you get to read this, I totally agree with BrambleandMonty, they have put in words exactly what I was thinking. I do hope the comments of JM07 haven't upset you, and you just ignore them. Your horse is a credit, you should be very proud. Horses are great healers, looking after him as well as you obviously do and riding can only help your own recovery. Best wishes X

of course you don't have to justify anything...least of all to me.

All things considered though, I would just buy myself a ID....or take up driving.

What an awful thing to say

Love the star on his bum, did you do it Wimbles?

Sorry

but would you really of liked me to lie, it is a lovely lovely horse .

I know all about steroids ( I am a pharmacist ) and you really do have my full sympathy, but so does your lovely horse.

In the spirit of honesty and helpfulness, I'm sure you won't mind me pointing out that it's '...would you really have liked me to lie?'

Agree, lovely horse and tbh whilst the OP is not a skinny minny (I'm sure this comes as no surprise to her
tongue.gif
) I don't think she looks particularly large on her horse.

I have only been part of HHO for the past month. I've been shocked with the negativity that each post seems to attract. It makes me worry about posting myself half the time. Everyone on here has one thing in common and i thought everyone would support each other because of that. But a lot of people seem to want to make people feel bad. I have been victim to this with a few of my posts! I was going to add a photo of me and my mare to my signature but i dont think i will now, I'm a very leggy 5'9 on a 15.2hh horse. I'm sure that would get some comments!

Wimbles- you and your horse look stunning! i hope you both did well, he looked like he was having a great time! I was at Southwell....what a lovely day it was!

Did anyone watch the team jumping in the main arena at the end of the day...i was getting so excited! what it would be to be a kid again!

Just because something is negative, doesnt mean its hurtful. Some of us are big and ugly enough not to feel the need to hold back when we feel there is something constructive to say.....you young uns may think its done out of spite, mostly it isnt and occasionally others do agree!

If you post photos then you will always get some sort of comment and generally its aimed at the welfare of the animal.

I am also quite shocked to read some of these comments. I think Wimbles looks great on her horse and has obviously achieved a great deal with him.
Best wishes on your recovery and carry on doing so well on your lovely horsey.
JM07 - you stopped me from posting on this site before because of your vile comments. You're impressing no-one so grow-up or get off the stuff you are taking that makes you so thoughtless and nasty.

Admin - the sooner you ban b!tches like JM07 the better!

Oh dear....pots and kettles again.

Look. it matters not one joy HOW the OP gained her weight, I and others here are all willing her to a speedy recovery. But at the moment IMO and that of others she is a little large to be riding a fine tb. The hands thing would apply whatever size the rider was.
