As promised. Off we go to Warren Farm for Lancashire Jumping Club's BSJA show. Its quite difficult when I go there because my mum does the declaration board so doesnt get time to help me work in, so I usually have to jump what other people put up!

We went in the 85cm warm up class and for some reason buggerlugs decided he could do without my assistance and charged around in a rather unruly fashion, this resulted in 2 stupid knockdowns!! This little discussion of ours had wound him up a little bit and the BN was well up to height, so I decided not to jump him in the other collecting ring but to try and chill him out a little bit. We wandered up and down by the ring, and he calmed down. Then we went in, jumped the first two fine, 3rd was a max height oxer very shiny in the sun he spooked but went, then I couldn't slow or turn back to double at 4 (nearly fell in their devils dyke). At the double he jumped in horribly and had the 1st part but got out ok, 5 was spooky planks, 6 a related oxer, 7 a rustic upright, 8 another max oxer coming off the top corner of the ring to a 1 stride double across the diagonal o the length of the ring!!! This is were he did his racehorse bit, so I decided to pull him up turn a circle and continue with me in charge! Jumped in and had the 2nd part on the way out but then jumped the last (another max oxer) absolutely fab. And we should have a piccy on here by mid next week!!
So there you have it, not fantastic, but a big step forward because at least we are getting round now. Conclusion is much more practice needed!!!!!!!
