Hi, has anybody used this, ive been told its very good for putting condition on horses.
Just wondered the quantity you feed and really what peoples opinion on it are

I used it for a while. It really does put weight on but it's expensive - £12 for a 15kg sack from my supplier. It seems fairly palatable & it really does put on weight without silliness.
 
I've used it for 20 years now. I swear by it BUT you must be very carefully how you feed it. It is very high in protein.

It also swells considerable and should never be fed dry. Soak for 3 hours minimum before feeding, make sure it is fully soaked.

I start off with a very small amount and work up, I find it good for horses in hard work because of the 40% protein content. Start with 1/4 scoop MAX in each feed. No more than 1/2 scoop per feed.
